Outstanding little place. Extended family had a great time, some of us cottages, some in motel. All rooms were fine, Jason was attentive and supportive of us having a great time.
Pleasantly surprised. We are used to booking a VRBO when we visit Geneva. We decided to make a very last minute weekend trip and of course almost everything was booked. When we called the Anchor, the staff was very helpful and assisted me to find the best room/value to meet our party size. They also let us know our room was not rented the evening before and we could have an early check-in. Room was clean and a great location. I would definitely stay here again.
We were really impressed with how pretty and nicely the property and buildings were kept, and how clean our room was. The sheets on the bed were like new. We had a king room, and we are hoping to come back, next year, and stay in a cottage. This is an older motel, but the owners and staff seem to put a lot of effort and time into keeping it nice and our stay was very enjoyable! We are looking forward to a return visit.
We just stayed again with new owners. Still no bugs and a clean room. Great shower! Outside could use some pressure washing n clean up but all in all it's a good place. Guess previous owner Phil just had higher standards. The grounds crew just have stuff piled up instead of picking up. Like old gutter n paper. Weeds I pulled from our porch. 6/24 will we stay again yes if can get different cottage with yard in front of it. They were kind and put us in small cottage for few nights. Great place to stay. CLEAN, FRIENDLY! GOOD PEOPLE. We took a cottage and they are nice, the rooms are also CLEAN. They have bar next door, had breakfast and ate there several times. Had a bonfire our last night and met some great people. We will be back. So thank you until next time
